Songkran in Thailand or New Year's Day is April 13th of every year, the government will
set holiday date 3 day is April 13-15
in Thailand, Myanmar, Laos, it is April 13th is the new year too. Most people will come back to meet relatives.
The people have many activitie as house cleaning , go to the temple, bathing
the Buddha , powder and splashing the water each other for cool and fun. Some
areas have a contest beauty queen for Songkran. And other activities. Each year
will be specify the name of the Songkran
Festival. In 2015 she was named is Raksok goddess.
